Jennifer Coleman

Jennifer's passion for design is apparent in the quality and details of her work. She believes in listening to her clients and creating an environment that they will love and enjoy. Jennifer currently lives in Ridgefield, CT with her husband and 2 children.

I first worked with Jen in 2017 on a complete overhaul of my primary bathroom. When it came time to partner with a designer on our new construction dream beach home, I knew I wanted to work with her again. The challenge was I no longer lived in the same town as Jen (we moved to Philly in 2019) and the new home was in Rhode Island! Not to worry, Jen handled our remote relationship like a pro. A handful of site visits and many Zoom calls later, the house is done and we couldn’t be more pleased!

Jen supported me from pre-construction through furniture delivery—about an 18-month process. What I most appreciate about Jen is her keen understanding of the building process itself and her ability to create a timeline of selections and purchases that align with what a builder needs at a given time. It was also such a relief to be able to refer the contractor directly to Jen for the dozens of little decisions that come up in a new build. The contractor could not believe how quickly he was able to complete the project and I attribute much of this to Jen’s involvement and speedy decision-making.

Jen helped me select and source every plumbing fixture, light fixture, piece of indoor and outdoor furniture, tile, wall colors, and wallpaper. She helped me with kitchen and bath cabinet and vanity selection and colors, as well as countertop and flooring decisions. She understood the beachy vibe we wanted for our home and carried that theme throughout the whole house. With 10 foot ceilings throughout, Jen understood how to draw the eye down with wall color and really amazing light fixtures - something I never could have accomplished on my own. Perhaps the best part of this home is the kitchen and Jen gave me the confidence to go bold - with three different colors for the cabinets and island and a unique pantry area with a very special backsplash. When it came time to order furniture, Jen arranged for it all to be collected at a receiver and delivered in one day. No waiting around for deliveries and living in a half-furnished house - invaluable!

Jen has phenomenal taste, is a great listener, flexible, responsive to feedback, and organized. She made our vision for our beach home come alive. I felt completely supported throughout the whole process and would gladly work with Jen on my next project - even if we do live three hours apart!

Jennifer Coleman brings everything you’re looking for to the table. A variety of experience. A vision of what your space can become. Transparency and communication throughout the design and project management processes. Access to high quality resources and workmanship. And all with the thoughtfulness of someone who recognizes she is partnering with a family in their home.
We have worked with Jennifer through two large renovation projects now. I’ve already started a vision board for a third.

We started working with Jen long distance, before we had moved into our house or even the town. I don’t know what we would have done without her design skills, her logistical wizardry and her always calm, friendly and professional approach - what everyone said was going to be a nightmare ended up being quite easy! She managed a lot of renovation to an older house and worked closely with us to completely re-design the master bathroom. The bathroom we have is exactly what we hoped for and Jen made sure to keep within our budget. We very highly recommend her to anyone.”

This was my second project with Jen, and it was a significantly larger one then the last. I knew a total renovation of my kitchen and bathroom needed not only an expert but a trustworthy partner for the project. Jen has incredible taste and has modern ideas and very “in the know” on what not only works but what will have longevity. She was the best partner I could have ever asked for - very detail oriented, was very helpful in explaining the process, working with the right crew and getting the results that we needed and wanted. Jen is a careful listener and knows the right areas to push on without being aggressive. She always goes above and beyond for her clients and makes what is a stressful endeavor much more manageable. She has not only become a friend but I wouldn’t dream of ever designing or decorating without her.”
